| RKC INSTRUMENT ANNOUNCES COM-G and COM-H COMMUNICATIONS CONVERTERS |
| RKC Instrument Inc. announces DeviceNet and Profibus communications gateways for its product lines. The new COM-G and COM-H modules are compact DIN rail mounted units that convert standard serial communication protocols to Profibus or DeviceNet following ODVA guidelines. The COM-G converter interfaces with RKC single loop controllers to enable them to work as a slave to the PLC via Profibus. A single COM-G accepts up to 31 instruments to be linked. The new COM-H converts protocol between RKC standard/ANSI used by multi-loop controls and the PLC to DeviceNet. It can link with up to 20 zones of autotuning PID control. The application applies to all industries requiring temperature control communication. . |
